Öncelikle kullanılan ifadelerle başlıyalım;

Left : Sol
on the left : solda
turn left : Sola dön
Right sağ
on the right :sağda
turn right: Sağa dön
Turn Back : Geri Dön
Up :Yukarı
Down :Aşağı
Önde : On the front.
Arkada : At the back.
İlerde : Ahead.
Go Away Street:Yol Boyunca yürü(dümdüz git)
Opposite:Karşısında
Next To:Yanında
Behind:Gerisinde

Sık kullanılan cümle kalıplarına da yer verelim;

Bu adrese gitmek istiyorum.		I want to go to this address.
Çorum’a gitmek istiyorum.		I want to go to Çorum.
Tren istasyonuna gitmek istiyorum.		I want to go to the train station.
Tuvalet nerede?		Where’s the toilet?
Otobüs durağı nerede?		Where’s the bus stop?
Otel adresim budur.		This is my hotel address.
Sola dönünüz.		Turn left.
En kestirme yol burası.		This is the shortcut.
Üçüncü caddeden sola dönünüz.		Turn left at the third street.
Köprüden geçince sağa dönünüz.		Walk a little, then turn right.
Sonra bir daha sorunuz.		After crossing the bridge turn right.
Sonra yeniden sorun!		Later ask again.
Oraya otobüsle gidebilirsiniz.		You can go there by bus.
Karşıda.		It’s across the street.
Üçüncü sokak.		The third street.
Birinci cadde.		The first street.

Doğru yolda mıyım?		Am I on the right way?
İzmir’e giden yola nasıl çıkabilirim?		How can I get to the road to İzmir?
Uşak’a kadar dosdoğru gidin.		Go straight ahead until Uşak.
Yüz metre ilerden sola dönün.		Turn left after 100 meters.
Yanlış yoldasınız, sekiz kilometre kadar geri gidin.		You are on the wrong way, go back for 8 km.

B: Walk to the end of this street. (Bu caddenin sonuna kadar yürüyün.) Turn right, when you get to the crossroads. (Kavşağa geldiğinizde sağa dönün.) After walking about 100 mt., you’ll see a street having a pastry shop on the corner. (100 mt. kadar yürüdükten sonra, köşesinde pastane olan bir sokak göreceksiniz.) Turn into that street. (Bu sokağa girin.) Court House is the third building on the left. (Adliye Sarayı, soldan üçüncü bina.)
A: Thank you. (Teşekkür ederim.)
B: Not at all (İngiltere İngilizcesi’nde) / It’s your welcome (Amerikan İngilizcesi’nde) (Rica ederim ya da Birşey değil.)

A: Excuse me, how can I get to the bazaar? (Pardon, pazar yerine nasıl gidebilirim?)
B: Walk along this street. (Bu caddede ilerleyin.) Turn left when you see traffic lights. (Trafik ışıklarından sola dönün.) You’ll see a big shopping center. (Büyük bir alışveriş merkezi göreceksiniz. ) The bazaar area is just behind that shopping center. (Pazar yeri, o alışveriş merkezinin hemen arkasında.)
A: Thank you. (Teşekkürler.)
B: Not at all. (Önemli değil.)
